Trading Hours & Graphics Hours

You can change trading hours temporarily for promotional purposes, events or late nights, and also change a store permanent trading hours.

First, select ‘Trading Hours’ from the settings menu on the Bellwether Home page.

When the page loads, you will be offered the option of either changing the Standard Trading Hours, which will permanently edit a stores trading hours, or Special Trading Hours, which is for temporarily editing a stores trading hours for an event or time of year like the Rugby World Cup or Christmas.

Standard Trading Hours

When you click on Standard Trading Hours, you will see the table below, The table shows each dashboard you have access to, and the trading hours of each store.

On the left is a text box where you can filter the stores that are displayed on the table.

The 'edit hours' buttons on the right of the table will allow you to edit the stores trading hours. Once clicked, the menu in the image below will be displayed. You will be able to edit the trading hours for each day of the week individually. Once you have set all the trading hours, click 'Edit Trading Hours' to save the stores new trading hours. Note if you lead one days boxes empty, the store will be considered closed on that day.

Temporary Trading Hours

When you click on Temporary Trading Hours, you will see the table below, The table shows any custom trading hours and which stores are affected by these custom hours.

On the left is a text box where you can filter the stores that are displayed on the table.

Any existing hours can be edited by clicking the edit icon on the right of the table, or deleted by clicking the trash can icon next to the edit icon. When you click on the edit icon, you will see the menu in the image below, here you can edit which locations are affected by these custom hours, which days of the week thee custom hours would take effect, the new temporary trading hours, the date range that dictates how long these custom hours are in effect for, and the reason for the custom hours.

To create new custom hours, click the 'Create New Rule' button, you will see the menu in the image below appear.

The first box allows you to specify which stores this new rule affects.

Click the 'Add New' button to add the custom trading hours, you can add more than one. When you click this button, the menu in the image below will show.

This is where you can specify the days of the week that this rule will take effect on, the opening time, the closing time and date range this rule should be in effect for. Note that the opening and closing times are in 24 Hour format. If you wish to set a rule to go from 10am to 4pm, either input 10am or 10:00 in the opening time text box, and input either 4pm or 16:00 in the closing time text box. Click 'Add Open Time' to add these settings.

The final text box is where you input the reason for these custom hours, for example 'Christmas Trading Hours'.

Clicking the 'Save' button will put these custom trading hours into effect.

Graphics Hours

The Graphic Hours menu can be found under Settings > Dashboard Settings > Graphics Hours.

Here you can change the default hours for the graphics that display on the Bellwether dashboard. You can change them individually per store, however this setting is NOT unique to you. Changing these hours will change them for all users. Please note, changing the graphics hours will only adjust the hours displayed on your foot traffic, WOP and CR tiles, not your store's actual trading hours. Updated on July 7th 2020
