When you have a lot of stores, a lot of staff, or are using the context menu heavily, the amount of context can quickly add up. Luckily, it’s easy to quickly filter context by type, date or comment.

To do this, first go to the context menu:

And then select ‘filter’ at the top right:

Selecting filter will bring up the above menu.

Select a Type: Filter context into marketing (for context related to promotions or marketing choices), employees (for context related to staffing), weather or external factors (for context related to factors other than those mentioned above).

Filter by Comment Made: Filter context by a word in the ‘comments’ section. This is the best way to search for a single specific context element you are trying to find.

Pick a Date Range: Filter context by date- so you can view context for an entire period to dig into long-term changes in sales or footfall.

Finally, click ‘Apply Filters’.

From the context that appears, you can view, apply edits or remove specific elements.
